Alen Takhsh established Takhsh Law P.C. in 2011 on the principle of providing compassionate legal counsel to those facing both straightforward and complex immigration issues.

As someone whose family immigrated to the U.S. over three decades ago, Alen has a uniquely intimate knowledge of the U.S. immigration process. He is keenly aware of the human element in every case, never losing sight of what is at stake. Alen, whose family is of Assyrian and Armenian descent, immigrated to the U.S. from Iran. He went on to obtain his B.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago (2002) and his J.D. from The UIC John Marshall Law School (2007).
Alen serves on the boards of Heartland Alliance, the National Immigrant Justice Center, and the Skokie Community Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, Rumi and Piper, as well as marathons and triathlons.
